In Person Township Board Meeting: The next board meeting will be on Monday, July 20, 2020 at 7:00 PM outside.  We have reserved the Village of Merrill pavilion outside our front door of the township hall.  Picnic tables are available or bring a lawn chair.  We will be practicing safe distancing.  If by Sunday morning July 19 it looks like it will be raining on Monday the 20th, we will be having the meeting online so watch this web site and the posting on the office window at the hall for any change.  If we have to change the meeting to online follow the following instructions.

July 14 Planning Commission Meeting is Postponed:  The expected wind special use permit has not been delivered so the July 14th Planning Commission Meeting is postponed.

July Board of Review:  The July Board of Review will meet on July 21, 2020 at the township office with social distancing as necessary at 11:00 a.m.  
Zoning Board of Appeals Meeting:  The ZBA will hold an organizational meeting on Monday, July 13, 2020 at 7 pm for the purpose of administrating the oath of office and adopting operating bylaws.  The meeting will be held in or near the pavilion outside the townships offices.  The public is more than welcome and a public comment period will be provided.
Township Assessor Activity: Larry Fleming, Jonesfield Township Assessor will be doing field work on residential properties starting in July 2020 and continuing until October 2020.
Field work means verifying the information on the township’s property record card for your property and taking pictures of your buildings. The assessor will come to your door and identify himself. If no one is home, he will leave and return at a later date. Thank you.
